Eighteen deserving children enjoyed a delicious lunch at Banny’s today as a treat for earning 500 Dojo Points through the year. On arrival, the children were given puzzles and pencils to keep them busy while they waited for their food.
Children from years one to six chose their own meals from the menu, including fish and chips, chicken and chips and sausage and chips washed down with a choice of drinks.
Following the main course, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream with strawberry or chocolate sauce – yummy!
All of the children behaved brilliantly, in fact a lady who had eaten nearby came over to the staff to tell us how amazing the children were and how they are a credit to our school. A perfect end to a lovely meal! Well done to all those who attended.
Mrs Burtoft received a lovely email from a couple who were having their lunch at Banny’s;
My wife and I visited Boundry Mill yesterday 18/7/18. At lunchtime we dined at Banny’s. Whilst in there your school minibus arrived with school children who then also came into Banny’s for lunch.
We would just like to pass our thanks to how we’ll behaved the children were. The teachers with them as well as yourselves should be very proud of them.
Great to see especially in today’s world.
Well done !!!!!!
