The children were so excited to return to Forest School for a second week. On our walk to forest school we collected lots of leaves of all different shapes, sizes and colours and these were used to make a leaf crown. We looked at the different leaves and tried to find the tree the leaves had fallen from. As we approached the Woodland Oasis, the morning group spotted three Deer that live in the forest, we were very quiet and tiptoed so that we did not scare the Deer.

Whilst at the Woodland Oasis, the children played games, explored the woodland, looked for bugs, insects and other things that live in the forest. As the children showed interest in the mud hill slide last week, Katie-the forest school leader, tied a rope to a tree at the top of the hill and the children had to use their strong muscles to pull themselves up. They then took great pleasure in sliding back down the hill.
