It was a crisp, frosty start at Forest School this week, the children were very excited “it’s been snowing everywhere”. The children found sticks – bendy, straight, long and short. We used them to tie ribbons onto to make our ‘magic’ wands and make up magic spells. The children explored the wood, they had to find the missing magnifying glasses and the children worked as a team to help others up the steep, slippy terrain. We used tools to digs deep into the forest bed to find mud to make our paint, we added water to make a paste and used it to paint the trees several shades of mud! The children used brushes, sticks and other things they found on the forest floor to paint onto the trees.
