Key Stage 1

Pupils aged from 5 to 7 years old

Play Based Practical Activities

We have two classes in Key Stage One; Class 4 with Year 1 children and Class 5 with Year 2 children. They are situated in the same building as our EYFS Unit. Due to the close liaison between staff, transition from Reception into Year One is very smooth with no lost learning. This then continues through to Year Two and on through the school. Pupils from Year 2 receive specialist music lessons and also start swimming.

Key Stage 1

Key Stage One has two large, bright classrooms, a hall, a classroom for small group work and an intervention room. Children also have one designated large playground and shared use of two others.
