Last Saturday, West Street children took part in a massed choir performance with other children from around Burnley and Pendle.  The children performed the musical ‘Ocean Commotion’ about the dangers facing our seas and consequences of human action.  The choir was conducted by Pam Kemp and comprised of children from several different schools singing in unison, each with some children playing speaking parts.  West Street’s Rebecca played the part of the Great white Shark, accompanied by Declan and Georgia as her faithful pilot fish.  The children worked together brilliantly and put on a beautiful performance, with many tear jerking and thought provoking moments.  Very well done to all involved!
