The second of Class 5’s RE trips was to Colne Parish Church. The children walked to St Bartholomew’s and enjoyed learning about this place of worship. They compared the church to the mosque which they had visited the previous week.

The vicar commented on how knowledgeable the children were and was impressed with their questioning. The students had a list of items they needed to find in the building and they took photographs on the iPad.

Alesha and Erin both said that they were impressed with the gravestones on the floor inside the church. Layton said “I like the stained glass windows.”

Watch this space to find out about their trip to Leeds to visit a synagogue.
