During the last half term, Year 4 learnt all about life during the Stone Age! As part of this topic, the children made a Stone Age fruit stew!

The children cut up different types of fruit that would typically be found in Stone Age Britain, as early humans had to hunt and gather their own food. They added a variety of fruit to a pan with a few table spoons of honey and boiling water, before leaving it to simmer for 20 minutes.

Every child tried the stew, giving a very mixed reaction as a whole!
