We have got some more great examples of what you have been getting up to at home and school.
The children at West Street have loved learning about Captain Tom Moore and his fund raising for the NHS. We have created a birthday card and sent him some pictures because we think HE IS A HERO! If you haven’t seen what he has done at home take a look.
Families at home have been doing ALL SORTS. As well as their English and Maths workbooks they have been: baking, cooking, learning how to wash up, den making, lots of different art activities, going on walks in the wild, collecting stones and shells, decorating their windows, clapping for the NHS and key workers and much, much more. Take a look at some of the photographs we have been sent.
We have put some new work on the school website for each class. Go to www.west-street.org then go to the Learning tab and then to the Key Stage (either EYFS/KS1/KS2) and select your class. Click on the Home Learning tab and the work will be there.
It has been lovely for the teachers and me to speak to some of you on the phone. We are missing you very much but love to hear about what you have been doing.
