Attendance
The attendance of your child is extremely important and time missed from school can have a damaging impact upon the progress
they make. Even being late by 10 minutes adds up to nearly an hour of lost time.
It is easy to lose track of how many days off your child has had. We will send you a traffic light half termly to help you.
Any parent who is struggling to get pupils in on time please come and see us as we can offer help and support.

(School Attendance Matters)
Our attendance scheme has been running for over a year now and I am pleased to say that there have been good improvements with pupils being here and being on time. It has rewards for children AND parents. (We know how hard you have to work to get your child to school on time!)
Be in & on time every day for a week and you get your name on the rainbow and a chance to get a free snack.
At the end of each half term the names are put in a draw for a £10 voucher for the child and a £10 voucher for the parents.
Children with 95% at the end of the year will also receive a certificate and reward.
Attendance and punctuality form part of our Reach for the Stars mentoring files. To be ALL GREEN children must have attendance above 95% and be on time every day. We have special termly and end of year all green reward trips.
