Trips
One of the things which we believe is a crucial part of learning is having new experiences. These could include visits into school from outside agencies such as the Fire Brigade or trips to new and exciting places. In Year 5, children are given the opportunity to take part in a residential trip. We regularly visit Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales where we are able to bring our Geography lessons to life. We also visit a campsite in West Yorkshire where we take part in a range of adventurous activities such as kayaking, archery and abseiling. These fantastic opportunities are a important part of learning and provide them with a great base of knowledge and experience to draw from and memories to cherish for ever. |
