This week we have carried on with our topic of 'Marvelous Me' alongside the story of The Colour Monster.

The children are fantastic at matching the colours to the emotions like in the book. We spoke about our feelings and what makes us feel happy, sad, angry, scared, calm and confused. We then took photographs of each other showing these emotions for our display.

In the craft area we collaged colour monsters and we also painted cardboard tubes.

At carpet time we searched for our address on google maps and we spoke about the importance of knowing our street name and number. The children loved looking at their homes and telling their friends " That's where I live!"

We also discussed what we want to be when we grow up! The children had good knowledge of all the different occupations and some shared what their mummy or daddy does for a job.
