Pancake Day!

Reception Class have been learning about Shrove Tuesday. This is a time where some people prepare for Lent which is for 40 days. Traditionally, Shrove was often the last opportunity for people to use their leftover eggs, milk and sugar before the items went off. Pancakes were one of the easiest ways to use up these ingredients before the fasting season began. We had a great time making pancakes together! What is your favourite topping?
